Waterproofed, wearable art...  intensive anti-humidity treatments and a special patina are  used  in the Paper Jewelry, making them highly resistant to water, fluids, and non-corrosive liquids. See note below: re Care. 

Made according to strict origami standards, this brooch with a hidden pin closure concentrates the essence of Japanese folklore. The rich color of their traditional costumes and the characteristic golden filigree of their designs inspire the elaboration of this piece in which we only use authentic traditional Japanese paper.

Care : whilst waterproofed this doesn't mean you can throw your earrings in the washing machine or freedive with your water lily necklace—no matter how cool the idea may seem. Use water sparingly (it's your responsibility). We recommend applying a dry cloth (a typical eyeglass wipe is perfect) after each exposure to water of your Paper Jewelry to prolong the life of the waterproof coating.
