Monet Necklace by Joyas de Papel

Monet made water lilies a recurring theme in his work, inspiring us to create this jewel of craftsmanship.

The chromatic beauty of the painter's "waterscapes" is reproduced in this necklace, whose pieces have been crafted in several layers of paper. An exquisite piece of jewelry that combines art and craftsmanship at a spectacular price.

It's impossible not to surrender to the beauty of this flower, a symbol of calm and harmony. Monet's work, which inspires us in the Museums collection, also elevates it as a symbol of peace when, following the Armistice of 1918, the painter offered his country a gigantic painting of water lilies, a reminder of the destruction of World War I.

Waterproofed, wearable art...  intensive anti-humidity treatments and a special patina are  used  in the Paper Jewelry, making them highly resistant to water, fluids, and non-corrosive liquids. See note below: re Care. 

Care : whilst waterproofed this doesn't mean you can throw your earrings in the washing machine or freedive with your water lily necklace—no matter how cool the idea may seem. Use water sparingly (it's your responsibility). We recommend applying a dry cloth (a typical eyeglass wipe is perfect) after each exposure to water of your Paper Jewelry to prolong the life of the waterproof coating.
